The Sound of Music

Nothing brightens a room like the sound of music--especially when it's coming from the talented fingers and spirit of 97-year-old Virginia Laird. Virginia delights in playing the old piano at the Clark County Senior Center in Dubois, Idaho. You'll find her there each week bringing life and joy to the place. On January 2, we were finally able to get a short video of Virginia posted on the Senior Center website. Here's the link to go see Virginia's wonderful talents at work.

Thanks, Martha!

One of RSVP many loyal, dedicated stalwart volunteers is Martha I. She is a master of many trades and a wellspring of energy and positive enthusiasm. She helps in so many different ways. Martha's always there when she's called upon. One of Martha's many valuable contributions is helping enter the time sheets for RSVP Volunteers. She does this task once a month and it's a Happy Time when Martha comes to visit. This month she even took John & Debby photo for this blog! THANK YOU, Martha!

The RSVP Volunteer

Welcome to The RSVP Volunteer--an online blog for all those wonderful men and women who provide their selfless service to so many worthy organizations in Eastern Idaho. We are so proud of you and so appreciative of all that you do! The blog's for you!

As time and technology evolve we are gifted with many more ways to keep in touch with our diverse volunteers. More and more RSVP Volunteers are using the internet's vast resources. Blogs have become a favorite way for many to keep in touch and help each other understand "what's happening."

The Eastern Idaho RSVP Staff decided to start up a blog created just for those special RSVP Volunteers who add so much to the lives and times of our communities. We hope to use this blog to help keep you and our other volunteers up-to-date with interesting things happening to people and places throughout out 19,300 square mile service area.
This blog will also be like an old-fashioned kiosk in the Town Square. We will post events and items of interest in the margins. We want this blog to be truly informative, entertaining and interesting to you, the volunteer. Please give us your thoughts and comments and help us keep this blog on target and relevant to your interests and informational needs.

Thank you for visiting and thank you for your Volunteer Service! May your New Year be Wonderful always and in all ways!
